Haridwar is the nearest railhead. There are three trains from Delhi for Haridwar.

Rishikesh:
Is a great pilgrimage center of India made famous by Beatles
who stayed here in an ashram for 3 months. It is famous the
world over for its yoga centers and spiritual missions.
We visit temples, ashrams, Yoga centers and the famous Laxman
Jhoola and Ram Jhoola suspension bridges in Rishikesh, made
famous by the Beatles who visited here in the 1970's. At Rishikesh,
the holy Ganga leaves the Himalayas and enters the Indo- Gangetic
plains on its 2525- km journey to the Bay of Bengal.
Haridwar:
Leave for a sight seeing trip to Haridwar. Spend some time
at Har - ki - Pauri and the Haridwar Bazaar and wander through
the lanes of Haridwar for a peep in the lives of the famous
religious center.
One could also take a cable car trip to Mansa Devi Temple.
The temple sits atop Bilwa Parvat, a hill above the town.
The cable car ride offers you a panoramic view of the river
and the ghats.
The evening Aarti is a sight that does not deserve a miss!
