Bhutan Grandeur
DAY 1 ARRIVE PARO.
Upon arrival at Paro Airport, received by Snow Leopard
Adventures representatives, transfer to the Hotel, date permitting
visit festival, Paro (March 15-20). Dinner and overnight at
the hotel in Paro.
DAY 2 PARO
Full day at the festival, O/n Paro.
Day 3 PAR
At festival. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Paro
DAY 4 PARO - THIMPHU
After breakfast drive to Thimphu (Festival in October).
Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.
DAY 5 THIMPHU -
PUNAKHA
In the morning to complete the rest of the sightseeing
and in the afternoon drive to Punakha across the
Dochula Pass alt. 10,000 ft, site of one of Bhutan's most
enchanting views. Dinner and overnight in
Punakha (Punkha Drupchen Feb 10-14). Dinner and overnight
at the hotel in Punakha or Mendegang.
DAY 6 PUNAKHA -
PARO.
After breakfast drive to see the Punakha Dzong. In the
afternoon drive back to Paro for overnight.
DAY 7 THIMPHU -
PARO
Full day excursion to Taktsang Monastery.
DAY 8 PARO DEPART
Early breakfast at the hotel and drive to the airport
to board the flight for onward destination. |
